We’re delighted to welcome a couple of new faces to our Auckland team, further strengthening Younity’s technical recruitment capability in the ‘City of Sails’.
Cornelia Jacobs returns to the recruitment industry after 12 months out of the workforce after becoming a new mum to her young son. She joins Younity as a Candidate Manager after a successful career in IT recruitment spanning 12 years in both New Zealand and South Africa.
“I joined Younity in July and from the ‘get go’, I felt part of an amazing team that immediately made me feel supported and welcomed. I have an absolute passion for recruitment. Finding that perfect candidate for a role is what makes me tick. I know without a doubt that I’ve joined a team with that exact same passion and excitement as me”
Jane Anderson, Younity’s Operations Manager agrees.
“It’s great to have Cornelia on board and she has slotted straight into our Auckland team. With a long history in recruitment, she has quickly gotten up to speed and will recruit a broad range of technical roles. There’s also rumours that she’s a fantastic baker as well!”
Cornelia will specialise in recruiting a broad range of technical roles across several categories, including Software Development, Data & Business Intelligence, Architecture, and IT Security.
Younity also recently welcomed a new, but familiar face, into our Auckland line up.
James Wild relocated to Auckland from Wellington in July, transitioning from Younity’s consulting team in the capital city and joining the team in Tāmaki Makaurau. James has seamlessly carried on his role as a consultant recruiting a broad sweep of technical roles. His specialist areas of expertise remain Software Development, Cloud & Networks, DevOps & Automation, Testing, and IT Security.
“Having been part of the Younity team in Wellington for the past two years, I would be lying if I said building my networks again and starting again in a new city wasn’t going to be a challenge. However, the team in Auckland have been super helpful and made my transition easy, to the point where it feels like nothing has changed at all.”
