Younity is delighted to re-confirm its sponsorship of the 2021 New Zealand CIO Awards, proudly supporting the ‘Sustainability through Technology’ Award for a second consecutive year. The Awards Gala Dinner is scheduled to be held on the 31st August 2020 at Auckland’s Shed 10, once again being a feature of the 13th edition of the New Zealand CIO Summit.
The ‘Sustainability through Technology’ Award honours and acknowledges the achievements of New Zealand organisations that have planned and executed a successful sustainability initiative, leveraging technology solutions to create a positive outcome for their organisation or the wider community. Outcomes can be varied, addressing any one of the three pillars of sustainability, being economic, social or environmental.
In 2020, we presented the inaugural award to Southern Cross Health Society for their fantastic response to Covid-19, returning $50m in premiums back to its members and business customers at the height of New Zealand’s first lockdown. Their digital team pulled out all the stops to make this initiative happen at pace, providing economic relief to all those people who urgently needed it. Worthy winners!
In addition, we acknowledge all of 2020’s finalists, themselves winners in their own right for the great work they have done in advancing sustainability solutions that create great outcomes for their stakeholders and customers .
