Younity sponsors new Sustainability Award at NZ CIO Awards

Younity is delighted to be a key sponsor of the 2020 NZ CIO Awards, the highlight of the NZ ICT calendar, being held live in Auckland on the 24th November.

These prestigious awards celebrate innovation and success within the New Zealand IT business sphere, recognising both individuals and teams who have made outstanding contributions to the ICT sector over the past 12 months.

Younity is sponsoring the “Sustainability through Technology” award which honours and recognises the achievements of businesses that have successfully planned and delivered sustainability initiatives using innovative technology solutions.

Given recent worldwide attention on climate change and increasing focus on creating sustainable business practices at board and senior management level, this award should be highly sought after!

We’re very happy to secure this particular sponsorship opportunity. Sustainability is an important topic, and will only increase in urgency in light of the challenges that we face the world over. Younity are committed to doing our bit, and it is a cause that we are proud to support.

Mark Warren – Co-Founder & Auckland Consulting Manager

Normally, the awards are the highlight of the NZ CIO Summit. This year, due to Covid-19, the 2020 CIO Summit is being hosted digitally and delivered via a fully virtual ‘Stadium’ experience on 25-26th August 2020.

Given that, this year’s CIO Awards are a little different!

Whilst the 2020 award finalists will be still be revealed at the CIO Summit online on the night of the 25th August, the Awards function has been reinvented as an exclusive gala cocktail event, now being held on the 24th November 2020 at Auckland’s Civic Theatre. This is a night not to be missed!
